Firefighter Suspended After Manchester Incident

An Eighth Utilities District firefighter was suspended after a situation with another member, reports the Hartford Courant.

Acting Fire Chief Don Moore received a complaint on Monday of a possible threatening situation that occurred between two volunteer members while in the station.

An internal review showed a possible breach of the department’s policy on workplace violence.

Neither firefighter was injured and neither firefighter was named.
