Homemade Guns Seized In Manchester Raid: Police
Several firearms were confiscated during a raid at a Manchester residence Wednesday, police said.

MANCHESTER, CT — Several firearms were confiscated during a raid at a Manchester residence Wednesday, police said.
Police said the target of a search warrant was 18 Chambers Street, an address of interest as part of an active investigation, along with 49-year-old Daniel Wright.
During the raid, officers seized seven pistols and two "assault rifle-style" firearms, as well as magazines, and ammunition, according to an incident report. .

Officers also located and seized 3D printing equipment that is believed to have been used in the manufacturing of the firearms and magazines, according to an incident report.
Police said Wright is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition.

As a result of the investigation, Wright was charged with numerous counts of criminal possession of a firearm, manufacture of a firearm without a serial number or mark of identification, illegal possession of an assault weapon and possession of large capacity magazine.
Wright was held overnight on an $850,000 bond and was to appear in Manchester Superior Court Thursday.
Police said the case remains "an active and ongoing investigation," and additional charges are pending.
