Housing Could Be Added To State Office Hub Parcel In Manchester
Plans have been submitted to spruce up a site that hosts state offices in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT — Plans have been submitted to spruce up a site that hosts state social services offices in Manchester while adding several housing units to the parcel, planning officials said Wednesday.
The parcel is located at 699 Middle Turnpike East. The abutting land at No. 719 is in the mix, but will not be developed, planning officials said. The develper is listed as Kimlar LLC.
The area where the state officies are will be renovated — including the parking area and landscaping — and the offices will remain, planning officials said. A total of 32 housing units spread over six buildings will be added to the site, according to the plans.
