Manchester Police Working To Identify Pepper Spray Bandits
Police said about $3,000 in merchandise was taken and employees were pepper-sprayed during an April 1 strong-arm robbery incident.

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester police are asking for the public’s help identifying the people involved in a strong-arm robbery at BJ’s Wholesale Club in town on April 1.
According to the Manchester Police Department, the incident happened at about 3 p.m. Police reported that the suspects took around $3,000 worth of merchandise from the store.
The department said store staff tried to intervene as the suspects were leaving. During that encounter, the individuals deployed pepper spray against employees before fleeing the scene in a vehicle, according to police.

Police have not released additional details about how many people were involved, a description of the vehicle, or whether any injuries were reported in the information provided. The case remains under investigation by the Manchester Police Department.
