New Pastor Arrives At Manchester's St. John Church
St. John the Baptist National Catholic Church in Manchester has announced the arrival of its new pastor.

MANCHESTER, CT — St. John the Baptist National Catholic Church in Manchester has announced the arrival of its new pastor, the Rev. Adam Piekarzewski. Father Adam arrived in the United States in July and attended the Savonarola Theological Seminary before assuming his duties at the Manchester parish this fall.
“Father Adam brings energy and vitality to our church,” said Joseph Bednarz, Parish Chairman at St. John.
Father Adam completed two years of practical training at a parish in Gdansk before traveling to Israel, where he studied Theology at Studium Theologicum Salesianum Ratisbonne in Jerusalem.

After completing his master’s degree in theology he was ordained in 2011 in his hometown of Szczecin Poland. While studying in Israel, Father Adam became an official licensed guide to the Holy Land and guided pilgrimage groups visiting Israel, Palestine, Egypt and Jordan.
Father Piekarzewski completed a second master’s in psychology at the Salesain Pontifical University in Rome where he specialized with young adolescents. He has worked as a practicing psychologist for two years in public schools in Northern Poland.

Saint John’s Parish was founded in 1927 and served the local community in Manchester as a Polish National Catholic Church. Today, St. John serves all nationalities of Parishioners.
