Overlooking Case Mountain Reservoir, the nearly 5,000-square-foot home offers water views, outdoor recreation access, and upscale interior features like a cathedral-ceiling primary suite, granite kitchen, and finished basement space.
   

2. MANCHESTER SCOOP: Former funeral home eyed for new physical therapist office! (theconnecticutscoop.com) — A well-known former funeral home at 142 East Center Street in Manchester is being transformed into a new location for Connecticut Physical Medicine, with apartments planned upstairs in a later phase. The practice will move from its current 71 East Center Street office next to Cafe Aura once renovations are complete, bringing fresh medical services and future housing to a key stretch of downtown.
   

3. Manchester City Nissan settles for $4 million to resolve its 'unauthorized junk fees' (fox61.com) — A Nissan dealership on Tolland Turnpike in Manchester has agreed to a $4 million settlement after state and federal officials alleged it charged customers unauthorized junk fees and misrepresented certified pre-owned vehicles. The agreement requires Manchester City Nissan's owners to fund consumer refunds, clearly disclose full vehicle prices, and obtain explicit consent for all charges, aiming to protect future car buyers across Connecticut.

Southington high school football preview 2026 (rep-am.com) — Southington High's 2026 football preview includes an October 9 home matchup against Manchester, a key CCC conference game local fans may circle. With many starters returning and a strong backfield, Southington aims to build on last year's state-final run, giving Manchester supporters a clear look at a major opponent on their fall schedule.
   

5. 2 Killed As Dump Truck, SUV Collide On I-84 In Tolland: State Police (patch.com) — Two people were killed late Wednesday night when a Kia Sportage rear-ended a dump truck on I-84 in Tolland near Exit 68. State police say the truck was driven by a 51-year-old Manchester man, who was taken to Hartford Hospital for evaluation, while the SUV's driver and passenger from New Hampshire and Massachusetts died at the scene.
