Price Chopper Donates To Manchester Animal Rescue Center
The Price Chopper/Market 32 supermarket chain this week announced a gift to a Manchester Animal Rescue Center.

MANCHESTER, CT — The Price Chopper/Market 32 supermarket chain this week announced that six charities throughout the chain’s "operating states" will each receive a $1,000 grant in observation of Giving Tuesday.
The gift has a touch of irony because the chain closed the store that served the immediate area — in Vernon — last spring.
Each charity was nominated by a Price Chopper/Market 32 staff member and selected based on the impact the charity has on its community.
