Peters was born in Biddeford, ME on Dec. 17, 1941, and later settled in Mansfield, according to The Hartford Courant.
A beloved son and brother, a mechanical engineer and a 2010 graduate of the University of Connecticut.
Lonny loved to ride his Harley Davidson with his wife, Joanna, and befriended many bike enthusiasts all over the country who have remained his close friends.
