Jacob R. Buck, 24, of 110 Varga Rd., Ashford, was arrested by Connecticut State Police on Adeline Place and charged with operating or towing an unregistered motor vehicle, restricted turns/failure to give properly/grant right of way and possession of a controlled substance.

DUI Arrest

Julia Byron, 28, of 106 Brookside Ln., was arrested by state police on Warrenville Rd. and charged with speeding, operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Brian Henry Schmidt, 18, of 11 Pondview Ln., Reading, MA, was arrested by University of Connecticut Police at 1346 Storrs Rd. and charged with drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Charles Anthony Catala, 19, of 71 Henry St., Wallingford, was arrested by campus police at 82 North Eagleville Rd. and charged with second-degree forgery and possession of alcohol by a minor.

Warrant Arrest

Alexander Cabarras Esters, 25, of 6245 Lerner Way, Lansing, MI, turned himself in to the UConn Police Department after learning of an active warrant for his arrest. Esters was charged with second-degree criminal mischief.

Arrest

George Anthony Caceras, 22, of 28 Southwind Dr., Norwalk, turned himself in on an outstanding arrest warrant at Troop C. He was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

DUI Arrest

Daniel Frank Kehmna, 21, of 14 Westwood Rd. was arrested by state police at his residence and charged with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol, evading and restricted turn.
