Where/When: Linear Trail Hike Starts at the Quinnipiac River Watershed Association Building at 540 Oregon Rd., in Meriden at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 4. The Hike to Mt. Lamentation begins at the parking lot for Giuffrida Park, 800 Westfield Rd., Meriden, at 9 a.m., Saturday.
Why Go: What a great way to work out and see some of the hidden treasures of Meriden. Also, the Linear Trail Hike is led by wildlife biologist Peter Picone, so you can find out more about the town's natural habitat.
