CT Humanities Council Book Discussion Series

The Meriden Public Library will host a four-session book discussion series organized by the Connecticut Humanities Council. The series, titled "From the Beginnings: Who We Are," will take place in the Griffin Room at 6:30 p.m. once a month on Tuesdays.

The books to be discussed are:
January 18 - Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
February 15 – The Tender Bar by J.R. Moehringer
March 15 – Color of Water by James McBride
April 19 – Bee Season by Myla Goldberg

Marsha Bansavage will be the facilitator. Retired from teaching 35 years in a high-school setting, Bansavage taught AP English to juniors and English electives in contemporary literature and film studies. She was a sponsor for the Student Book Club and the Faculty Book Club. She also founded a local book club in her hometown.
