Edible Book Festival

It’s time for the annual Edible Book Festival at Meriden Public Library. Come and see (and taste!) cakes that have been made into a favorite book, a scene from a book or even a person from a book.

Everyone is invited to bring an edible creation that represents a book, such as the title, a character, a theme, or the book cover. It can be made from cake, cookies, vegetables, crackers, candy, fruit and more, as long as it is edible. Coffee and tea will be provided.

The International Edible Book Festival is held annually on or near April 1 as a way to share books and "eat your words."
