Reception and Documentary Film: Green Fire

Join us for a free screening of a new film called Green Fire, the full-length, high definition documentary ever made about legendary conservationist Aldo Leopold. The film explores Aldo Leopold's life in the early part of the twentieth century and the many ways his land ethic idea continues to be applied all over the world today. It is being presented in cooperation with Audubon Connecticut with major support provided by the Quinnipiac River Fund. The program begins at 6:00 p.m. with a reception featuring local environmental organizations that will be available to speak to the public about the Quinnipiac River Watershed and the work they are doing to protect its valuable natural resources. The film will be introduced at 7:00 p.m.
