Four Arrested for Alleged Heroin Operation at Meriden Home
An undercover investigation started earlier this year led to the operation on Mount Pleasant Street.

Four people have been arrested in relation to an alleged heroin operation at a house on Mount Pleasant Street in Meriden, My Record-Journal reports.
The four arrests were made on Wednesday and charges against those arrested include possession of narcotics, sale of narcotics and conspiracy to sell narcotics.
According to the paper, Roberto Cardona, 27, Gabriel Caban, 26, Joel Caban, 31 and Caroline Rosario, 31 were arrested in connection with the operation.

Local police and the New Haven Drug Enforcement Agency began investigating into the “Caban Drug Trafficking Organization” earlier this year, the paper reports. An undercover investigation by the DEA and police meetings with a local informant helped the agent identify the suspects as the agent witnessed the four making hand-to-hand transactions.
Joel Caban was released after posting bail. The other three suspects were arraigned in Meriden Superior Court on Thursday, the paper reports.
