In Case You Missed It: Lewis Avenue at Mid-Week Music

Home-grown acoustic band Lewis Avenue took the stage in the courtyard in front of Middlesex Community College's Meriden campus Wednesday afternoon for the city's weekly Mid-Week music event. From noon to 2 p.m. the Meriden band, consisting of Martin Kelly and Denise Gagne on guitar and vocals, and Tom Sekscenski on bass, played folk-inspired music.

Next Wednesday will feature the Maloney Alumni jazz band "Just Friends."
