Meriden I-691 Pit Bulls Returned to Owner

Meriden, Conn.-- Two pit bulls who were picked up on I-691 in Meriden last Thursday have been returned to their owner.

The pit bulls were claimed by the owner Friday, according to the Record-Journal. They were picked up by two good Samaritans, said Officer Bryan Kline, animal control officer for Meriden.

The dogs are were being held at Meriden Animal Control.
