Meriden Shooting Suspect on the Loose
Alton Mac Youngs is wanted for the shooting that occurred last week in Meriden.
Meriden police asking for the public’s help to locate the suspect for the Sept. 27 shooting on Center Street.
Alton Mac Youngs is wanted for the shooting and was last seen on that day running toward Camp Street, according to police.
His current address and whereabouts are unknown. Police haven’t recovered the weapon used in the shooting, but believe Youngs may still be in possession of it.

Youngs is a 20-year-old black man who is 5-foot-6 and weighs about 170 pounds. He has a tattoo on his right hand.
Youngs is to be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police at 203-630-6201.
