Meriden's Snowflake Recovering After Surgery

Snowflake no longer has a gap in her face where the elastic was, according to Meriden Animal Control.

An anonymous person has offered $500 for information leading to the arrest of the abuser or abusers of Snowflake, who was found wandering State Street last week. She had an elastic band wrapped around her snout; the band had been there so long that it embedded itself in her skin.

Snowflake is a 1-year-old Maltese/Poodle mix. A fund has also been set-up to help offset the costs of her treatment.
