• 4 Connecticut Men Rounded Up, 2 Vehicles Impounded In Street Takeover In Yaphank: Police (patch.com) — Several Meriden residents were arrested in Yaphank, New York, after police broke up an early-morning street takeover involving racing vehicles and impounded a truck, trailer, and race car. A 28-year-old Meriden man faces multiple misdemeanor charges, while three other local men were cited for unlawful speed contests and will appear in court at a later date.
