Police: Meriden Man Arrested in New York for Allegedly Driving Under Influence
The man reportedly had a BAC of .22%.
A Meriden man was arrested by New York State Police for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
Carlos Palta, 41, was arrested on Feb. 1 by police from the East Fishkill barracks.
Police went to check on a driver located in a vehicle that was stopped in the right lane of I-84, according to police. They found Palta, who was allegedly intoxicated.

A chemical test revealed he had a .22 percent blood alcohol content level, police said. He was issued a ticket for aggravated driving while intoxicated.
