1000 Books Before Kindergarten Kickoff, Saturday, 4/1 @ Russell Library

Altrusa International of Central CT and Russell Library are pleased to announce a jointly sponsored FREE. Reading program, 1000 Books Before Kindrtgarten. The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless. Read a book to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler; the goal is to read 1000 before your precious one starts Kindergarten.

Join us this Saturday, April 1 at 10:00 in the Children's Activity Roon at Russell Library. Members of Altrusa International of Central CT and Russell Library Childrens Staff will be on hand to explain the program. A keepsake journal will be given to the first 50 families who register. Russell Library will also launch a new online service called Beanstack. Be one of the first to receive the new children's library card.
