• New Middletown greenhouse aims to fight food insecurity (fox61.com) — A new $2.1 million greenhouse and urban food hub on Main Street is gearing up to grow fresh produce for Middletown families while training Middletown High School students in modern agriculture and hydroponics. Backed largely by a state Community Investment Fund grant, the North End facility aims to ease food insecurity, improve nutrition, and visually brighten the neighborhood as it prepares for its first fall harvest.
