LeMay was born in NY and grew up on a small horse farm in CT. Her upbringing on a farm was an influence for some of her art which includes an appreciation for animals and nature. LeMay’s artwork draws inspiration from nature, every day life, personal experiences, and other worldly realms of mythic symbology and spirit. “I view my art experience as an evolutionary process. As we evolve and transform so does the art and vice verse. While I aim for consistency of quality, I do not expect sameness since every piece is an opportunity to explore and express a new day and a new attitude.”
