God Speaks in Whispers and Signs

Many times God speaks to us in ways that are easy to see, and hear... IF we know what to look for. These are whispers from God that sometimes go unnoticed, yet he will continue to whisper in hopes that someone will hear, step up to the plate and make a difference in their lives and the lives around them. To actually take whats placed before us in principle and put it to practicle use.  

They come in ways not so easy to see sometimes, and at other times they will come one after another, after another as signs... until they hit us like a cosmic 2-by-4 in the head. I suppose God has the right to scream if he chooses too. Divine will get that message thru to us in hopes we will "get it" loud and clear.

Themes maybe repeated thru many channels directed at us through many manners such as billboards along the road, road signs, street names, number sequences, a song on the radio or we may over hear a conversation about the same topic that we are in need of help with. But do most people actually get it?

Do they see the signs blatantly placed before our eyes or whispered to our soul? From the moment we wake up in the morning, right thru to our dreams which speak to us equally meaningful.  

Sometimes our loved ones or guides step in as well and handle some of the light work. I remember one particuar day, after a particular difficult day with my mother, whom my husband and I have allowed to live with us... Well, I got into my car and yelled out to my dad who has passed a few years back. I said "Dad", "Now I completely understand!"... and of course knowing I was in need, he paid me a visit later that night.

We went fishing on his old boat. No words spoken, but yet I felt the unspoken message saying, "Stephanie, you need to step out for a while and relax...spend some quiet time alone, doing what you like. Get away"... Thats what I had to do!  Well, yeah he did it too... and quiet often, but I now understand why. 

Another time my Grandmother sent a sign, when the music box on my bureau began to play by its self. It had been in the wooden chest for months, untouched. But while I quietly sat on my bed drawing back the snags on my bedspread out came several notes. I chuckled to myself and said "Hi Gram"!.

There are many, many more stories I can share. I understand not all get the in your face signs as such, but one thing I can say with certainty is I am forever grateful for hearing the not so easy whispers. Because when we dont "get it" the first time, it comes at us a little stronger and most times we are in the process of learning our lesson the hard way.

It doesn't mean God or Divine is being extra hard on us, just that he really wants us to "get it, and get thru it" and most importantly "not forget our lesson!" All events we encounter thru our day are teaching us something. Divine is placing it before us to take from it what we need. 

Because I've allowed myself to open my heart and soul to hearing, seeing and more importantly believing in God's whispers, I feel I live a more fulfilling life. Allowing myself to be more open has made a tremendous difference. Are we listening? This lesson is one of the greatest principles in life. Are you listening?  Listen to your life as it speaks to you, or would you rather have it hit you upside the head?
