Bulk Waste Collection To Be Suspended In Middletown
The curbside bulk waste service will be suspended as the city prepares for leaf collection season, according to officials.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — The city is preparing for leaf collection season, which means the curbside bulk waste service will be suspended, according to officials.
Officials said the last day for payment is Monday, Oct. 19.
“Payments must be received by that date,” officials wrote in a news release. “Bulk waste collection is suspended in the fall until the end of the year and then only offered on a weather permitting basis throughout the winter.”

Residents can call the Department of Public Works office at 860-638-4850 before planning a curbside pickup in the winter.
Bulk waste can be brought to the Recycling Center for drop off throughout the fall and winter. More information on leaf collection and bulk waste collection suspension can be found here.
