Happy, Loving February!! It’s always time to share the love -SMILE :)
Hello Friends,

I’m grateful for the sunshine.
I’m grateful for The Buttonwood Tree.
I’m grateful for YOU who come to TBT! and
I’m grateful for the Citizens Advisory Committee who last night extended our grant so we can finish moving the sink and installing cabinets in our cafe area! Moments of Gratitude - staying in appreciation and love - that’s where I like to be :) Don’t you?

Wonderful music tonight - we’ve lowered the door fee to make it more accessible for you.

This weekend Saturday is full, starting with a healthy class for your body, then for your mind and spirit ... both help you get balanced!

We are working hard to do more promotions to let more folks know about us - please spread the word and come often, inviting your friends! Here’s a great way to do that:
There are all sorts of great deals in the CLIPPER Magazine - here’s our ad that will get you a Free Entry to a show:

DON WHITE is a HOOT!
He is super funny and extremely entertaining. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND his show!!! I also suggest you make reservations, or come a bit early to be sure of a seat.

Friday we’ll host ORICE JENKINS and ASHLEY HAMEL.
You may remember Orice from previous shows and our Barnes and Noble fundraiser. Ashley is a local gal we discovered at our Open Mics - she’s now hosting, and is a delightful singer/songwriter!

LIVE RADIO - ICRV is a relatively new online radio station that just opened a new studio in Ivoryton. On Sundays they open the studio to the public - so you can be part of the live broadcast. This Sunday from 12 noon - 1 pm they will host THE GRAYS - yes, the full band will perform and give interviews. I plan on going also. YOU can tune in here or go in person: http://www.icrvradio.com/
ALSO - if you want to hear live streaming from TBT - please let us know how you feel about that! THANKS!

Thank you to our good friends at It’s Only Natural(ION) Restaurant who gave us gift certificates for members. Thanks to these terrific folks who just donated to support our cause!

Saturday, February 208pm, $18 Don White Music/Humor Tickets Here!1455648928670-o6b5lpm3av-69380050429307b Don White
There is no one-word description for what Don White does. He has survived and thrived for twenty-five years, bringing his audiences to laughter and tears in his live performances, studio recordings, and on the printed page. He is a storyteller-comedian-authortroubadour-folk singer-songwriter. He is a walking challenge to the phrase “file under.” Best to just sort him under “Don White.”

Don’s approach to music is a weird, unique blend. If he just played folk music, it would be a handy label. But he has invented his own genre with a mix of humor and powerful songwriting. White’s arc as a writer and performer has taken him from his industrial hometown of Lynn, Ma across the country as hitchhiker, through Boston’s comedy clubs and coffeehouses, and onto the stage with greats like Christine Lavin, Arlo Guthrie, Taj Mahal, Ritchie Havens, Patty Larkin, Bill Morrissey, Tom Rush, and Louden Wainright III. At every point, White has been the ultimate observer, infusing his work with his experiences as a husband, a father, a seeker, and a joker.

Growing Outward by Rachel Hunt Keating, Reception Feb 20th 4-6pm The energy in nature has always been a magnetic force for Rachael Hunt Keating. RHK, as she is playfully called by her friends, can vividly remember that first woodland experience at a very young age that awakened her senses. Her lifelong love of photography has been steadily growing, and is now a daily practice. Rachael’s children, Skyler and Daniel, are the reason she continues to strive and are the driving force behind Skydancing Photos, Rachael’s photography endeavor. As a 20+ year resident of the CT shoreline, her passions for nature and photography have colorfully intertwined. The path has lead to the beaches~ where early morning sunrises are met with open-eyed wonder and a deep appreciation. These views are shared by means of the camera due to an inner motivation to stir the souls of the sleeping, and by doing so assist in the “Growing Outward” vision to inspire others into nature.
