Learn More / Buy Tickets Dan O’Brien [tenor sax] Mike Suddes [guitar] Silvain Castellano [bass] George Mastrogiannis [drums] The Painters draw their sound from many genres including jazz, rock, funk, avant-garde and classical music. Since each member is also a composer, much of their repertoire is new and original. Often, performances include on the spot improvised compositions, sometimes flowing seamlessly from song to song. Based in Connecticut, The Painters have performed a number of times at venues such as the Buttonwood Tree and The 9th Note Jazz Club. The group is currently working on their first album.
