The DMHAS Police Department will host a Tip-A-Cop event from 12-8 p.m. August 13 at Taino Smokehouse to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut. During the event, law enforcement volunteers their time to work with restaurant employees and welcome customers, take orders and serve meals to diners.
