Coleman Brother's 101st Rain Carnival

Snow On April 6th Palmer Field

The Coleman Brother’s 101st Carnival In Middletown Starts On April 6th. Coleman Brothers comes every year! It is fun for all kids! The Coleman Brother’s Carnival is mainly geared to the younger kids, but there will lots of teenagers around all week partaking in the fun. There are rides and food that adults will also enjoy:

It's that time of year again! The carnival has been in our city since 1916. Many people joke about it as “the Rainmaker,” because every year it seems to bring rain. Hopefully no snow this year!

The family festival began in 1916 by Dick Coleman, a clothing store salesman who set up a secondhand, steam-powered merry-go-round under the Portland Bridge. Soon, Dick Coleman built up a bigger carnival with the help of his brothers, Tim and Tom, and has since passed through three generations of Colemans.
