Coltsville Is Now A National Park

The wedding reception of Elizabeth Jarvis and Samuel Colt took place at The Jarvis-Hotchkiss House, 138-140 Washington Street in Middletown on On June 6, 1856: On Saturday July 22nd The Ceder Hill Cemetery Foundation gave a tour of the Colt, Jarvis Family:

The Park Ranger Above Bert Barnett Gives Tours Of The Coltsville National Park

Tours of Coltsville National Historical Park will step off at the Samuel Colt Monument Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. through Sept. 25. Visitors should enter Colt Park at the Wethersfield Avenue entrance, next to Armsmear. Parking is in Colt Park. Admission is free. Tours will last about an hour and visitors are advised to bring a hat, water and sunscreen. The walks will be canceled in the event of inclement weather. Access to restrooms is limited.
