Warren Byrd’s Byrdspeak Sessions: Refresh MLK Saturday 8pm. Warren Byrd’s Byrdspeak Sessions brings The Spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King into high focus. January looms large in Byrd’s calendar as not only the month of his birth but also of one of the stellar Americans of the 20th Century. Martin Luther King will be the subject of one of Warren’s latest “Palettes”, to be premiered with co-innovators Dutch Jazz luminary Saskia Laroo on Bass, Trumpet, and alto sax, New England jazz legend Mixashawn Lee Rozie on tenor sax and Emile de Leon on drums.
