Connecticut High Schools Invited to Nominate One Outstanding Graduate Per City for 2026 Student Honors

As another school year comes to a close and graduation season wraps up, the March For Education Foundation is launching its 2026 Graduate Recognition Initiative as part of the March For Education Parade/Festival and MFETV spotlight programming.

This initiative is open to Connecticut schools only, and is designed to ensure every city is represented by one outstanding student whose story reflects excellence, leadership, perseverance, and community impact.

Submission Structure:

Each Connecticut high school may submit one (1) graduating senior nominee

From all submissions, one student will be selected to represent each city

The selected students must be first-year college-bound graduates whose journey inspires others and reflects the strength of their community.

📌 Final Submission Deadline: July 10, 2026 (No extensions will be granted)
🏆 Awards Ceremony: August 7, 2026
🎉 Recognition During Parade/Festival: September 6, 2026

Submissions must be completed by a school administrator or authorized representative. Late submissions will not be considered.

We encourage educators, counselors, parents, guardians, and community leaders to coordinate with their local high school to ensure one deserving student is nominated.
