Cops: Woman Arrested Following Fight at La Boca in Middletown

The woman allegedly continued to yell at officers despite numerous warnings about her pending arrest.

An argument over a bar tab started a fight that led to an arrest in front of La Boca Restaurant Monday night.

Officers were summoned to the restaurant around 11:15 p.m. after a 911 caller stated people were fighting on the sidewalk, according to police.

Police arrived and found several intoxicated females yelling at each other. One woman identified as Tamisha Belin, 25, of Middletown was allegedly continually yelling at officers.

Officers pulled her aside because she wouldn’t stop yelling and waving her arms, according to an arrest report.

Officers attempted to ask her about her involvement in earlier events, but she continued to yell expletives at officers.

She was warned that if she didn’t stop yelling she would be placed under arrest, to which she allegedly replied “(expletive) you, do what you gotta do,” according to the report. She also said she didn’t have any identification on her when asked by officers.

Officers warned her multiple times that she would be placed under arrest if she didn’t calm down. She allegedly pulled away when officers when they attempted to arrest her, according to the report.

She also had a birth certificate and a social security card in her purse.

Belin was charged with breach of peace and interfering with police.

None of the other people at the scene would supply statements regarding their involvement in the reported fight. No injuries were observed and all parties agreed they didn’t want to press charges.
