Cops: Couple Arrested After Woman Lifts Skirt on Strip Club Bus

Middletown Police say an argument that began in Hartford between a Gold's Club bartender and her boyfriend got physical.

A Middletown couple face misdemeanor charges after police say a woman's actions during a strip club promotional bus tour enraged her boyfriend — causing them to fight in a car driving on Route 9.

On Sept. 24 at 3:36 a.m., police were called to the home of Toni M. Urbano, 24, and her boyfriend of four years, Daniel H. Elliot, 28, of Warner Avenue. Earlier in the evening while doing a promotional tour, in bus driving around the Hartford, the report states, Urbano, who works as a bartender at Gold’s Strip Club, repeatedly raised her short skirt and exposed her underwear.

Elliot told police he got off the bus and drove home to Middletown, when Urbano called and asked him to drive back to Hartford and pick her up. When he arrived back, the arrest report says, he found she had gotten a ride with a man and he became enraged with jealousy.

He then drove with her toward Middletown but stopped on Route 9 at exit 16 and told her to get out of the car. She tried to hit him in the face several times so he put her in a headlock, the police report says.

Urbano told officers Elliot has never had a problem before with her promotional tours and had punched his car’s windshield, pushed her face against the passenger side window and ripped her dress because he did not approve of it.
