Drink N' Dash: Man Consumes 13 Vodka Drinks Across 3 Restaurants, Police Say

The man was arrested by Middletown police, on multiple larceny and breach of peace charges.

A chicken fajita, 13 vodka drinks and about $160 in unpaid tabs across three different Middletown restaurants led to a Middletown man being arrested on multiple larceny charges.

An officer was dispatched to Puerto Vallarta restaurant on March 5 around 2 p.m. The officer learned that a man had ordered and consumed a chicken fajita and four top shelf vodka drinks, according to a police report. The bill was about $40.

He then allegedly left without an attempt to pay, but forgot to pick-up his license on the way out.

An employee followed him and told him to return, but Frederick Woodhouse, 48, allegedly fled through the parking lot.

An employee told police that Woodhouse had skipped out on a bill for $60 two days earlier, but someone called the restaurant and paid the bill for him.

Woodhouse was located by the officer on Main Street and issued a summons for sixth-degree larceny.

However, that wasn’t the end of Woodhouse’s dine, drink and dash escapades for the day, according to police.

He allegedly ran-up a nearly $100 tab at La Boca Restaurant later in the day on March 5 for seven double vodka drinks and then a $25 tab at Forbidden City for two vodka drinks.

A manager at Forbidden City said Woodhouse was loud and began to bother other customers, causing them to leave the establishment, according to police.

Woodhouse was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny and two counts of breach of peace for the alleged incidents at La Boca and Forbidden City.
