DUI Arrest After Vehicle Strikes Snow Bank: Middletown PD

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Middletown man was arrested after he struck a snow bank while intoxicated, according to police.

Police were called to East Street Dec. 10 for the crash. Joseph Marino, 56, smelled of alcohol and was slurring his words, police said. He had taken off at a high rate of speed after hitting the snow bank, according to police.

He failed field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI, traveling too fast for conditions and failure to drive in proper lane.
