Alzheimer’s Association Free Caregiver Series – Day Club in Middletown
The Alzheimer’s Association, Connecticut Chapter is offering a free Family Caregiver Series for caregivers of people with any type of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.  This four part series will take place at The Day Club Adult Day Center, 32 Miner Street, Middletown, CT  06457.  A light dinner will be served.  

The classes will run on four consecutive Monday’s, beginning on Monday, April 25 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Topics will include:

·         April 25 -  Overview of Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Types of Dementia, Treatment/Research, and Alzheimer’s Association Programs and Services

·         May 2– Communication Techniques, Behavioral Challenges/Strategies, and Safety
