Jewish Genealogical Research Program

Godfrey Library Executive Director Beth Marrioti, a professional genealogist, will discuss her research on two Jewish families and the business they established at the turn of the 20th century.  She will describe how they rose to prominence, their communities in St. Louis and Cincinnati, and the resources she used in her research.  She has  completed several full-scale family histories of Jewish families.

JGSCT Board members will be on hand to assist in family research.  The Society’s purpose is to preserve and
disseminate Jewish genealogical knowledge with programs, a library at Godfrey, and a newsletter.  A research meeting will
also be held on February 19, 2012.
