More than 200 magicians — professionals, semi-professionals and hobbyists — will attend the 31st annual New England Magicians Conference on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell, Connecticut. The one-day conference is sponsored by the Tom Prete Assembly 127, Society of American Magicians, which meets in Wallingford, Connecticut.
The busy day begins at 9:30 a.m. and the full day of magic includes a close-up show, three lectures, a magic dealer room and a Gala All-Star magic show, which is also open to the public.. Tickets at $25 are sold at the door for the 7:30 p.m. show.
Assembly 127 will honor long-time member Michael Nabel, a professor at Quinnipiac University, for his contributions not only to the Assembly, but for his tireless work on behalf of NEMCON for many years.
