DESCRIPTION: Parents of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) are faced with many challenges and decisions, including how to have a legal voice in the life of their adult child.

Families will be provided with information on the variety of options available for continued advocacy throughout their child’s adulthood. Leslie Simoes, Director of Advocacy at The Arc Connecticut, along with Attorney Frank Cathcart, of Steinberg and Cathcart, LLC, will offer training, guidance and resources. Thanks to the Arbella Insurance Group Charitable Foundation for their support of this series.
