After an international potluck luncheon there was a preview of the musical “X A Pius Musical” composed by a parish priest Fr. Erik Lenhart and Mr. Brian Niedermayer, the parish choir director.
A full version will be in the spring when the parish celebrates its 60th Anniversary. Fr. Erik was inspired to produce the musical because of the interesting life story of Pope St. Pius X previously known as Giuseppe (Joseph) Sarto. Pope Pius X is perhaps best remembered for his encouragement of the frequent reception of Holy Communion, especially by children.
