Come Down to the River to Pray and Worship
When: June 26th, Time: 10:00 a.m.
Place: Riverfront Park Pavilion, 284 Brownstone Avenue, Portland
Theme: “The Earth Is the Lord’s: A Creation Celebration”
Everyone is invited to worship outside on the last Sunday in June. You will need to bring a lawn chair or blanket for your pew seat and an open mind and spirit as we celebrate God’s creation in a unique and different way and place. For those who wish we ask that you bring a picnic lunch and join us after the service as we continue our fellowship time together by sharing a meal in the great outdoors. We will provide beverages. Ending our day will be fun activities for children of all ages.
Recalling the words of Psalm 24:1-2, may you be called to worship in this beautiful and historic place because
“The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it; for God has founded it on the seas,
and established it on the rivers.
