Free program offers a peek at retirement living
Area seniors invited to "A Day in the Life at Covenant Village of Cromwell" on Thursday, June 22,
Deciding to move to a retirement community and then choosing one that fits both your lifestyle and your needs is never easy. “It’s one of the most important investments you’ll make in your lifetime,” said Erin Hall, sales director at Covenant Village of Cromwell.
That’s why the senior living community is hosting “A Day in the Life at Covenant Village of Cromwell” on Thursday, June 22, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The free program allows guests to experience what it’s like to live at a retirement community. “It’s an opportunity to try us on for size, with no obligation,” explained Hall.
Guests will be able to take a tour, meet residents, and learn about life at the community, including social opportunities, lifelong learning and volunteer programming, resident-run committees and activity groups such as the gardening club, the creative writers group, and the hiking and walking club, to name a few.

In addition, there will be a free fitness evaluation, an opportunity to meet with the nutritionist, and an update on Covenant Village of Cromwell’s expansion plans.
“At the end of the program, guests will have a better feel for our culture, the people who live here, and the services and amenities we offer,” said Hall. “Doing your homework is an important first step in the decision-making process.”

A barbecue lunch and dessert from a cupcake truck will be provided.
