Helping Working Families Access Reliable Childcare
Grateful for support from community organizations like Middlesex United Way.

As another school year comes to a close, the YMCA is already preparing for the 2026-2027 school year and helping families secure reliable before and after school childcare through our Kids Korner program.
This year alone, the YMCA provided $79,348 in financial assistance to support 141 children in our school age childcare programs. In total, 37.6% of children enrolled in Kids Korner before and after school care receive financial assistance from the YMCA.
Support like this is made possible through generous donations to the YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign from caring individuals, families, and local businesses who believe every child deserves a safe, supportive place to learn and grow. Grants from organizations like Middlesex United Way and other community partners also help make quality childcare more accessible and affordable for local working families.

Beyond childcare, the YMCA creates opportunities for children and families to build friendships and community connections throughout the year. Recently, all Kids Korner sites gathered together at the YMCA for a fun-filled Spring Fling carnival event celebrating another successful school year.
Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open. Financial assistance is available for families with annual household incomes under $100,000, and Care for Kids is accepted.
