Home Food Preservation Workshops

2014 UConn Extension Home Food Preservation Workshops

As folks turn to home food preservation as a way to preserve the harvest from their backyard gardens or simply to have more control over the food they eat, some may be looking for alternatives to freezing and canning. A series of home food preservation workshops will be offered at UConn Extension Centers throughout Connecticut this summer.

The following workshops will be offered in the 2014 Workshop Series:

Pre-registration is required and there are registration deadlines. Please do not register at the program site, but through Diane Hirsch at the New Haven County Center only. A registration fee of $10.00 will be charged for each lecture/demo workshop. Please notify Diane Hirsch if your plans change and you can no longer attend.
