Man Accused Of Sexual Assault In Middletown: Police

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A man faces several sexual assault charges following a lengthy investigation by the Middletown Police Special Investigations Unit, along with other agencies, according to officials.

Calvin Bunnell, 75, was arrested on a warrant on Oct. 14, according to police.

Bunnell is accused of engaging in actions over a period of several months that were “sexually inappropriate in nature,” police said.

Bunnell was charged with four counts of second-degree sexual assault and five counts of third-degree sexual assault.

He was released after posting a $50,000 bond with a court date of Nov. 14, according to police.
