Middletown 4th of July Fireworks 2016 Details

Event date, entertainment scheduled to perform and more on the annual Independence Day fireworks celebration.

Middletown, CT — The City of Middletown Fireworks Festival is Saturday, July 2 (rain date is in effect), beginning at 5 p.m. at Harbor Park.

Performing this year are the City's Music Ambassadors. Starting things off at 5 p.m. will be The Rust'd Keys featuring Music Ambassador Dave Downs.

Next up at 6:15 p.m. will be Music Ambassador Rani Arbo and daisy mayhem. Then, at 7:30 p.m. the band is the Jay Hoggard Quartet featuring Music Ambassador Jay Hoggard. The Middletown Symphonic Band will be providing patriotic music from approximately 8:30 p.m. through the fireworks.

The Middletown High Jazz Ensemble will be performing for the early crowd on the riverfront in Harbor Park beginning around 6:30 p.m.

Come early for a good seat to view the fireworks and enjoy the activities. Seating sites are along the riverfront in Harbor Park and in front of City Hall at 245 deKoven Drive, and there will be plenty of food vendors at both locations.
