Middletown Police Appreciate Community’s Show of Support
On a tragic day for law enforcement, community members helped pick up the spirits of local police officers.

Middletown, CT — In the wake of the Dallas shooting that left five officers dead and seven wounded, communities across Connecticut have shown support for the local police officers.
In Middletown, officers were surprised with some breakfast treats from residents.
“The Middletown Police Department would like to say a big THANK YOU to Christine and her teenage son Cameron who brought some breakfast goodies to the station today,” police said in a post on Facebook. “We know the majority of people in Middletown are behind us in our jobs to keep this wonderful community safe. This was an extra special surprise and greatly appreciated.”
