Mother Arrested After Children Found Living In Deplorable Conditions In Middletown: Report

Two of the children told police they were hungry and had eaten dog food they found on the floor.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Four children were taken to the state Department of Children and Families and their mother was arrested after police found them living in deplorable conditions in an apartment in Middletown, according to NBC Connecticut.

NBC reports Chloe Edwards, 27, of Middletown, was arrested after police found the children living in conditions that included a carpet stained with food, urine, cockroach carcasses and feces.

Two of the children told police that they were hungry and ate dry dog that they found on the floor, according to NBC Connecticut.
