New Britain man indicted on federal gun and drug charges pleads not guilty (fox61.com) — A police pursuit that began in West Hartford ended when officers tracked a suspect's vehicle to Middletown and arrested a New Britain man now facing serious federal gun and drug charges. Authorities say they recovered a handgun plus distribution-level fentanyl and cocaine, and the defendant, who has prior convictions, has pleaded not guilty and remains detained while facing potentially lengthy prison time.
   

5. A Rather Unusual Graveyard Sits at a Connecticut Hospital (wearedanbury.com) — In Middletown, the Connecticut Valley Hospital Cemetery draws attention for its eerie rows of numbered, nameless gravestones. A YouTube explorer highlights the site's history as part of a large 19th-century psychiatric hospital complex, where nearly 1,700 people were buried between 1878 and 1957 amid reports of unusual and sometimes tragic deaths on the grounds.
